Washington DC Store Opening

Scanlan Theodore is pleased to announce the opening of its new Washington, D.C. boutique. Set proudly in a prime corner position within CityCenterDC’s renowned luxury precinct. This marks the brand’s sixth US boutique, welcoming a highly curated retail experience in the heart of artistic-rich Washington, D.C.

Flowing across an impressive 3,000 square-foot L shape layout, the boutique exterior is defined by a series of expansive windows and illuminated tray letter signage. Distinctive metal louvres, raised blue glass mosaic tile plinths and aluminium-clad display boxes positioned at spaced intervals, reinforce the boutique’s elite aesthetic and luxury appeal.

Designed in partnership with acclaimed interior designer, Studio McQualter, the space remains true to Scanlan Theodore’s 35-year signature design ethos, with memorable design moments to inspire an experience of intimate luxury.

Inside, the space showcases immaculate details – raw concrete columns, juxtaposed with polished cement floors featuring concealed LED lighting and a notable belted leather and metal-wrapped counter, taking subdued luxury to new heights. Tubular metal rails and marble shelving hero the ready-to-wear designs, whilst bespoke accessory suites house the brand’s coveted handbags, footwear, and eyewear collections.

Salmon-decorated walls and ceilings encourage a relaxed and inviting shopping environment, whilst steel grey wool carpets, ash timbered zig-zag dividers, grand Italian wall mirrors and a Murano Glass Mid-Century chandelier complete an unwavering attention to detail.
