Summer 22 Part Three

Celebrating the romanticism of Spring, the third iteration of Summer 22 presents perennial pieces in feminine silhouettes, exaggerated volumes, and nuanced details - re-establishing the innate elegance that is synonymous with Scanlan Theodore.

Looking ahead to the holiday season, occasion wear is explored through decadent couture fabrications, shimmering accents and tropical inspired motifs. Crafted from a specialty fabrication that has been developed by a prominent French textile mill, the silhouettes are designed with the eternal allure of contemporary femininity.

Romantic and feminine occasion dresses are characterised by a soft playfulness and, luxurious fabrications. Voluminous silhouettes in fluid proportions are enhanced by a dynamic depiction of pleats, gathered detailing and sculptural silhouettes. Crafted in a cohesive colour palette of raspberry, apricot and candy pink, the collection is crafted by artisans for sophisticated warm weather ensembles.

Carefully created and developed at our design studio, in-house designed prints imbue an art deco interpretation of flourishing botanicals. Signature gingham is revived in a rich, spiced hue - loosely tailored for an introduction to resort dressing.

Summer tailoring is synthesis of timeless detailing and modern proportions, crafted with Scanlan Theodore’s distinguished design sensibility. Embodying traditional skillsets from European artisans, new season tailoring is underpinned by a classic, minimalist aesthetic paired with a modern view of femininity. With an emphasis on effortless Summer styling, signature tailored silhouettes are crafted from 100% Italian Linen. Inspired by masculine tailoring techniques, the collection is reimagined with a three-piece suit, and coordinating jumpsuit.

Scanlan Theodore acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land where we came together to capture this story. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
